Outcomes assessment program
IUL’s Assessment is the systematic collection, review, and use of information about our educational programs undertaken for the purpose of improving student learning and development. An outcomes assessment is completed for each program annually. IUL has developed outcomes assessment program intended to provide an ongoing review of the institution’s effectiveness. The program for assessing institutional effectiveness has two components: one, gathering and compiling information on the extent of IUL’s accomplishments in achieving defined purposes; and, two, using such information for institutional planning and program improvement.
The components of our undergraduate programs demonstrate an integrated course of study that helps students develop the breadth and depth of intellect to become more effective learners and to prepare them for a productive life of work, leadership, and personal fulfillment. It aims at developing a student’s intellectual ability, executive personality and managerial skills through an appropriate blending of business and general education.
The program assists the student in understanding and developing the unique leadership qualities required for successfully managing business functions, an organizational unit or an enterprise.
These learning outcomes for the undergraduate level indicate that upon successful completion of any program, students:
UL demonstrates that the Educational components of its baccalaureate degree programs have identifiable and assessable learning outcomes that are stated in relation to the institution’s mission, and recognized to be appropriate to the Baccalaureate level by the Commission of Independent Education in Florida.
Graduate programs are consistent with the University’s mission; in keeping with the expectations of their respective disciplines and professions. They require a greater depth of study and increased demands on student intellectual or creative capacities; knowledge of the literature of the field; and ongoing student engagement in research, innovation, leadership, and/or appropriate high-level professional practice.
Graduates:
The programs provide an ethical and legal foundation for the student’s behavior in commerce and give the student insights into recognizing inappropriate behavior in others. they imbue the student with detailed knowledge of managing both projects and operations. Programs describe how effective managers lead—how they make decisions to motivate others and how they organize efforts to tap into human capabilities most effectively.
The Graduate assessments measures are: course assessments, student projects, papers, dissertation, exhibitions, performances, case studies, and final evaluations.

The DBA program is designed to serve this need by providing doctoral-level education to
professional practitioners in business and management.
Upon completion of the DBA program, well-defined students are ready to enter the international
the business world and successful employment, publications of scholarly papers, professional research
and teaching at institutes and Universities.

Dissertation outcomes
The dissertation is the final scholarly product of the program. This document must complete the proposed research study, presenting detailed results and analyses. The dissertation must present a careful synthesis and evaluation of the work done and the findings obtained. All claims must be warranted, and limitations admitted. Suggestions for future research in the field that builds on instant research are required to demonstrate the fruitfulness of this research.
The capstone project outcomes are:
Concept paper – Demonstration of students’ ability to articulate a research study.
Quality review methods – Demonstration of students’ ability to conduct a review of the alignment of methods, design, and question in the dissertation study.
Defense – Demonstration of students’ ability to present and defend their research and findings.
